Sneaky plants

Some weeds are just so clever.  They hide among the plants and grow right along side, until finally, they can no longer stand it.  They have to proclaim their presence with a bright bloom.  This is when the gardener comes in to say, "well, you've had your fun, but now the game is over"!

This is one of my problem weeds.  Meadow Salsify, aka milkweed.  It is in the same family as dandelion producing lovely yellow flowers that turn to puff balls of white umbrellas that sail for miles on the the wind, then implant themselves in my yard and garden!
