Here comes the Bride Chapter 4!

Still more prep work but we're getting close!  Most of these photos were taken on Thursday.

Crayton covered with more tulle!  We rented these curtains to create a space for the buffet table.

Crayton and Roni Jo and tulle!

Les explaining to Paul and David and Jean, why the cardboard garbage cans needed to be covered in burlap and then the tops spray painted brown, instead of leaving them stark white!
Starting to look more like a reception hall instead of equipment storage!

Not the finished product but getting closer!

Each table had a card with a number and a picture of a piece of our farm equipment.

This is the  "photo booth" setting, where folks could take pictures with their phones and then post to social media sites.  We didn't see many folks doing that, because we were all having so much fun with the dance party!  No matter, it was a good way to cover the air compressor in the corner!

More things being placed around the farm for full fall effect.

The west side of the house looked nice with these bright red geraniums blooming their little hearts out!

Pasture entrance/exit.

The site of the wedding, as seen through the trees.

Guest entrance to the pasture.

This all happened at the corner of Mielke and Funk!

A fun vintage pickup added to the decor.

Aunt Marg and Beth have all the reception table arrangements done, waiting to be placed.

Beth and Aunt Marg worked tirelessly for three and a half days to create beautiful arrangements, corsages and boutonnieres.

These are the arrangements that go on the reception hall tables.  They also made 10 arrangements for the cocktail tables in the yard, and an arrangement for each outhouse!

AND, they did an arrangement for each bedroom in the house!!

Friday a big wind blew through, so we had to take some evasive action to keep things in place!

Crayton came up with the idea of covering the corn stalks with garbage bags to keep them somewhat in tact.

Saturday morning we released the corn stalks from their protective covering and they looked as good as new.

Uncle Mark got out his pipes to do a practice run for the wedding!

David's Uncle Mark brought his bagpipes for use at the wedding.

This is not a common sight at the end of Rolinco Road!
Tomorrow a few images of rehearsal and Farm Friday!

Best wishes and congratulations to Roni Jo and David. I thought of you as I arrived at the Spokane Airport Saturday night. Blessings to all.
