We got lots done today! All the problems that we have had the last few days, paved the way for smooth sailing today.
We are experiencing terribly smokey atmospheric conditions. Most of British Columbia, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon are on fire. We are getting smoke from British Columbia and Montana. 78 days of no precipitation, and nothing in the near forecast, has taken a toll on our region.
Here are a few images that show just how thick the smoke was today.

Nice furrows and lots of residue. |

Smoke! |
|
Visibility of only a half mile today. You can just see Reynald coming over the hill in this image. |

A closer look. |

Even closer. I know I have something on my camera lens. Might be time to spring for a new Costoc camera! |
This smoke is definitely annoying, and a health risk for some, but we must not complain, for our homes and our livelihood is not threatened by fire or flood, like so many.
