Here comes the Bride...chapter 2

A few more photos of wedding prep, now the week before the wedding!  A flurry of activity all week long......so much fun!  Let's take a look at the reception hall, aka the equipment storage side of the shop.

Miles and miles of little white lights to hang....

Grandma Jo and Grandpa Jim and Beth, trying to make some order with these long strings of tiny white lights.

We found that it was easiest to lay them out in long lines on the floor, once they were untangled from the bundles.

Roni and Crayton working on hanging lights.

Then miles and miles of tulle to hang.....
Uncle Dave with a huge bundle of tulle.

And now Crayton and Roni hanging the tulle in place.

Thank heaven for the bucket truck that we borrowed from Crayton and Beth.

The perfect tool (not tulle) for this project!

Lights are on the wagon wheel, and now the tulle goes on.

Meanwhile, outside of the shop, Beth and Aunt Marg were busy cutting corn stalks, and harvesting squash from the garden to use as decoration both inside the reception hall and at various locations around the farm.

Cutting corn stalks to tie in to bundles for farm decor,

The lawn littered with squash!

Aunt Marg loading squash......

and, Beth loading squash....

The gator was loaded to the gills with a variety of squash from the garden.

And for additional color, I bought several pots of mums, one of my favorite fall flowers.  And, the really great thing is, that after they have been used as decor, I get to plant them in my yard for continued color, year after year!

Such wonderful color in the fall.
