Our wheat harvest is just around the corner. We're planning a soft start, with just the three of us, on Thursday then full steam ahead on Friday with all the crew.
In the meantime, we've been rod weeding the summer fallow, doing last minute repairs on the combines, washing equipment, doing much needed yard and garden maintenance, picking and processing more sweet cherries and pie cherries than a person really should, and enjoying some gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.
Stay tuned for a harvest report!!

Rod weeders and our Indy tractor. This is just after I finished with this field. |

I made our crew wheat themed face masks for harvest from left over fabric from another project! |

I've been deadheading roses and spent perennials. It looks like the Tasmanian Devil tore through my yard! |

Arthur tractor and grain cart, both combines and the two semi trucks and trailers, parked and ready for action. |

This is one of the days that we were picking cherries. It was so pretty. I never tire of this view. |

Last week we had a couple spectacular sunrise mornings. |
