Time to Put Away

The temperature is in the mid 50's again today.  I guess it's time to put the snow sleds away!  They have looked a little out of place all winter, with no snow, but especially now!

And, when the weather is nice, boys will be boys!  Look who took the pony out of the barn to stretch her legs!  He just couldn't resist!!

Finally, here is a wonderful piece of glass work that we commissioned artist, David Glass to do, for our dining room.  (Yes, David Glass is really his name!)  We installed just before Christmas.  Each day I look at it, several times in fact, and love it more and more.  It is a focal point of the room.  David took special care in the design, keeping to a more historic feel.  He even used a piece of glass that was manufactured in the early 1900's which I think makes this even more cool!!  He took in the colors in our room as well, so it all blends perfectly.  How lucky we are to have this amazing work of art in our home.
