We have just completed our fall quilt retreat. As always, a good time was had by all! It's always refreshing. Time spent sewing, talking, stitching, talking, drinking a little wine, talking, gathering ideas, talking.......you get the idea!
Here are a few photos of our super fun weekend.......

The sun rises on fall quilt retreat! |
Early arrivals on Friday morning. Chicks fly in through out the day and evening. |
This is Joanne's, corner. She does the most amazing work! |
Food is a very important part of quilt retreat! |
Everyone brought 5" squares of fabric to exchange. Now we all have 20-5" squares to do something with by next retreat! |
Baxter loves keeping an eye on all of us! |
Grandma Nancy (Beth's mom) and Grandma Jo (my mom) spent time on the couch, stitching and knitting. So cute! |
Sarah, one of our younger chicks, stopped by with her even younger chick, Tenison! |
Another one of our younger chicks, Emily, was busy as could be all weekend. |
Brenda and Claudia stitched and stitched and stitched each day. |
Sarah, (a different Sarah, who also has a young chick!) is making her little Ellie a camping quilt, that had an Alice in Wonderland theme. |
Beth brought one of the Christmas quilts that she completed since the last retreat. She has a red one too, but it isn't quilted yet. They are really fun together. |
Then, she made several decorative pillow cases to accompany the two Christmas quilts. On this one, Beth's daughter Sarah did this wonderful lettering. |
Another one of Beth's pillow cases. |

And another.... |

This is Brenda's completed Farmer's Wife quilt. You can spend a lot of time looking at this! It's so very, very cool! |
All cleaned up and ready for the next event in the barn. Alicia and her pianist Kevin, are giving a recital on January 2nd and 3rd, 2016! Stay tuned for more details as the time draws near. |
And a beautiful sunset today, on an equally beautiful weekend with dear friends and family. |
