Garden Tour

So this happened yesterday.   For several years, the Corbin Senior Center in Spokane has brought a tour group to Harrington to walk through a couple local gardens and renovation projects in our community.  They usually tour the Opera House, the Studebaker garage, the Lincoln Hotel,  and a few local gardens, one of those being the Rolinco Road gardens.  This year they added the Post and Office to their tour, where they enjoyed a delicious lunch and beverages.

The Corbin Center was able to fill two tour buses for their annual tour.  When they arrived at Rolinco road they hopped out of the buses and took off their shoes and walked on the grass as they wandered through the yard.

The highlight of the tour though, was an abbreviated barn concert by Alicia!  She played three solo flute pieces and answered some very interesting questions!  We both had a wonderful time with these delightful folks.  We're looking forward to yet another return visit next year.

Our favorite flute player, entertaining the crowd!

She took off her work hat and gloves, and picked up her flute!
