Rocky Fjord

Or, Rocky Ford as the locals call it!  It really was a rocky fjord, probably a century or more, ago.  Now it has a lovely cement bridge spanning the waters of Crab Creek.

Alicia found out there was a trail ( of sorts) and it being a lovely afternoon, suggested we go for a short hike.  We had a wonderful time.

This is Crab Creek, right at the Rocky Ford bridge.

The Crab Creek water shed is part of the channeled scab lands. of Eastern Washington.

Still lots of water running in Crab Creek.

Bambi!

This wild flower is in the mallow family, though I don't know it's specific name.  A nice color of orange.

The clouds were so pretty.

Such great colors today.
