Back Hauling

Yesterday I finished spreading last years chicken manure on the garden.  Decided that I need to be like a long haul trucker and back haul! The photos will explain.
Loading up buckets with chicken manure.

Buckets in the wheel barrow.

Drive to the section of the garden where the manure is to be spread and unload.

Proceed to the pile of pruned rose canes and load up the wheel barrow to be taken to the brush pile, on my way back to the chicken manure pile.
Also got the iris bank raked.  The iris are starting to grow so I needed to get the old foliage off.
The unraked bank of iris.

Another view of the iris bank.

If you look closely, you can see the iris just beginning to grow.

Old foliage removed and ready to burn.

The sauerkraut was ready to process so got that project finished up.
Processed sauerkraut that we made on New Year's Day.

Another super nice day.   While we are enjoying very mild weather, Boston continues to dig out from the latest snow storm.  The girls are well stocked with food and fun projects to work on.  They didn't seem to mind yet another snow day!

Meanwhile, here on Rolinco Road, we enjoyed the sunset on the porch last night with Uncle Scotty and Aunt Jackie.
Enjoying the sunset at the end of Rolinco Road.  Nice to have porch quilts to snuggle under!
