Spring color

Spring arrived early for awhile.  Then it got cold and plants and people put on the brakes.  It's getting warmer again, and some of the plants in my yard are getting enough courage to show their color!

Grape hyacinth are just about ready to bloom.  

One of the good things about having a forgetful brain is that sometimes I get some nice surprises.  I completely forgot that planted these tulips last fall on the east side of the vegetable garden.  Last week they started to pop out of the ground, and I am so delighted.  Looking forward to when they bloom.
