Detail

So, you know when you get a used car and the salesman says, "And the car has been gone through and completely detailed."?  Not so much.  Though, I don't know if there is anyone in this world that can go through a car that Reynald might buy and detail it to his satisfaction.  He has spend parts of the last two days, detailing Oliver and wow, does Oliver look sharp now!

First of course was a thorough washing and vacuuming.  Reynald found a lucky penny, which I will keep and put somewhere in the car.  Haven't decided where yet, but I'm thinking.

Next came the shop detail.  This is where you drive the car over to the shop and really put the final touches on!

So, here are a few photos of both Roni's Mustang, Beverly and little Oliver.  There is a reason that Beverly is in the shop as well, but more on that tomorrow.

Beverly and Oliver in the shop, taken from the shop loft.

Beverly and Oliver.  Guess we like red cars!

Baxter is always around, checking things out....making sure we are doing what we are supposed to be doing!

Reynald was quite frustrated that the dealership where we bought the car, DID NOT clean the insides of the wheels.  Clearly, a huge oversight!  Who doesn't clean the insides of their wheels?  It requires removing the wheels, taking said wheels outside to the pressure washer, scrubbing and rubbing the INSIDES of the wheels and then putting them back on the car!

The very dirty insides of  Oliver's wheels.

The very clean and shiny insides of Oliver's wheels.

While the wheels are off, doesn't it make sense to paint the brake calipers to match the color of the car?  Seriously, who doesn't do this?

Oliver's brake calipers before paint.....

and after........

A shot of Oliver's unpainted and unclean inside wheels.  I'm pretty certain that you can tell the the inside of  the wheel is not clean!

A completely clean wheel, both inside and out, and a freshly painted, red, brake caliper.

Here's a photo of the finished product.  It does make Oliver look simply smashing, doesn't it?  Oh my goodness........
Darling little Oliver, freshly washed, vacuumed, brake calipers painted and inside wheels cleaned!  All kidding aside, he does look simply fabulous!

  1. Mama the 'Stang's name is Bev. Rhymes with rev. Bc she's got such a lovely purr! Beverly sounds way too girly.
